Nebraska Football: Cornerback Chris Jones Placed On Paycom Jim Thorpe Award Watch List

The Senior is ready to shine this Fall

Another day, another watch list for a Nebraska Cornhusker.

Chris Jones, the Senior Cornerback out of Jacksknville, Florida, was named one to watch for the award that goes to the best Corner in America.

Jones was named Honorable Mention all-Big Ten by both the media & coaches last season. Jonest totalled 37 tackles, 3 interceptions & 10 pass breakups last season.

Jones had a big interception for a TD vs. Indiana on the road last season, plus numerous big pass breakups.

Jones joins the 45 other players on the watch list. The Thorpe will be presented at the Home Depot College Football Awards in December.
