Watch list time is abound with the start of Media Days, signaling that College Football is almost back!
With that, Nebraska had been getting the 0-fer in these, but not today.
The Lou Groza Award, which recognizes the best kicker in college football, released their watch list today. Nebraska senior Drew Brown was put on that list.
Brown, out of Southlake Carroll HS in DFW, had a pretty good season last year. He was 12 of 14 in field goals last season, also going perfect in 38 extra points in 2016.
Kickoffs were in Brown’s wheelhouse too, going 30 for 68 in touchbacks during the season.
Brown enters his senior season seventh in all-time scoring in Nebraska football history with 282 career points scored. He’s also third in program history with 47 made field goals.
The Groza Award will name their winner December 7th during the Home Depot College Football Awards show.
