The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that former Nebraska I-back Ahman Green was arrested late Sunday evening over a family matter. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office only confirmed that Green was arrested on suspicion of child abuse, and that the District Attorney’s office was reviewing the case today for possible charges. The Madison State-Journal reports the case revolves around an incident that occurred on Sunday and that Green was expected to make a court appearance today.

Brown County includes the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Green continues to be involved with the Green Bay Packers organization, participating in the team’s “Tailgate Tour” this spring. Green spent eight seasons with the Packers, and was voted into the team’s “Hall of Fame” in 2014 as their all-time leading rusher.
