Wide Receiver Cameron Brown Commits To Nebraska Football

The St. Louis wideout commits to the Huskers Sunday

NCAA Football: Purdue at Nebraska Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have struck on the target-rich St. Louis area for the 2018 cycle on Sunday.

The Huskers have gotten the commitment of Cameron Brown, a very fast 6’1” WR from Christian Brothers HS in the StL area. If that high school sounds familiar, it is where Husker RB Tre’ Bryant honed his skills before Lincoln.

Brown is the 7th-best player in the state of Missouri and the 69th-best WR in the 2018 cycle. Those are all based on the 247Sports composite scale.

Brown has gotten 16 total offers, and had offers from Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Georgia among his Power 5 offers.

Keith Williams was in all the way back in October on Brown, who got the offer when he took an unofficial visit at the Purdue game. While other services have Brown lower, Nebraska is solid enough in his skills to take him in a small class.

With Brown’s verbal, Nebraska jumps back into around 8th in the 247Sports National composite rankings. This also boosts them to THIRD in the competitive Big Ten. Ten commits for the Huskers and this class is closer to being full with quality players. A lovely issue if you ask me.
