Well, offseason news is never good to make, especially in this aspect.

Per a report in the Daytona Beach (Fl) News-Journal, Nebraska Cornhuskers wideout Stanley Morgan was cited May 6 for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia. Per records, it appears that Morgan was arrested for more than 20 grams of marijuana.

KETV news in Omaha was the first to break the story.

Volusua County, where Morgan was cited, had recently relaxed laws on marijuana, stating that anyone caught with less than 20 grams would be ticketed and released.

UPDATE: A statement from Nebraska Athletics:

"Head Coach Mike Riley and the Athletics Department are aware of a recent incident in Florida involving Stanley Morgan Jr. We will have no additional comment until we have all information regarding this matter."
