The 2017 Big Ten Baseball Tournament kicks off in Bloomington Indiana this morning. Indiana and Minnesota are set to kick off the tournament, with first pitch scheduled for 9:00 a.m. After Indiana and Minnesota finish, Michigan will take on Northwestern with first pitch being scheduled for 12:30.
All games of the Big Ten Tournament are telecast on Big Ten Network, with mobile coverage on BTN2go.
Weather could be a concern in Bloomington today, as the chances of rain increase throughout the afternoon. The National Weather Service says to expect an 80% chance of rain, with rainfall between a half inch and inch by the time the rain is expected to end tonight.
As for Nebraska rooting interest, the Huskers have faced both Indiana and Minnesota, taking two games from each. Indiana is the hotter team, so the Huskers would not mind seeing the Golden Gophers knock them into the loser bracket. Michigan and Northwestern are both teams the Huskers have not faced, but Northwestern upsetting Michigan would be a surprise.
