Flakes: Big Ten Tournament Starts Today

Baseball, the history of the dunk, and the Dutch King has a second job.

The Big Ten baseball tournament starts today with four games. The Huskers play in the 3rd game of the day at 4 pm central. There is significant chances for rain today, so expect some delays and some games to end up being played tomorrow.

Keith will have game threads and updates, so stay tuned here at Corn Nation for those.

Indiana Hoosiers - 2017 BIG TEN BASEBALL TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

This is the time of year when you can’t have enough pitchers. The Huskers are in decent shape there, but the loss of four pitchers (maybe five?) to season-ending injuries (Tillotson, Eddins, Curry, Engelken are the ones I can remember offhand) will be noticed during this stretch. Conference tournament and regional play adds up to a lot of games in a short period of time. I have confidence in the pitching staff, let’s hope the offense continues to show up as well.
