There had been several whispers about Nebraska’s offensive line recruiting. It got off to a pretty good start for the 2018 cycle on Saturday afternoon.
Thank you to everyone that recruited me, but I am excited to announce that I am going to be a Nebraska Husker! #GBR pic.twitter.com/MgKXfeCCEH

Washington, South Dakota’s Will Farniok committed to the Huskers on Saturday afternoon. Will is the brother of current Nebraska player Matt Farniok.
Will, who has visited the Huskers several times and knows the staff well in Mike Riley and Mike Cavanaugh, is listed as the 10th-best center in the 2018 recruiting cycle. He is the top ranked player in the state of South Dakota this cycle as well.
As his brother’s recruitment, Farniok and his parents were very deliberate about his recruitment. He didn’t give many interviews & took his time when it came to visits and such. However, Nebraska has been on top of Will since his brother’s early recruitment.
The Huskers have struggled to find a center for quite some time. With the recruitment of Will, it looks like they have one that will enter school as a center instead of trying to create one.
With a big weekend of visits coming up with the spring game, this could be the start of several commitments that will boost up Nebraska’s class. We’ll talk more as April 15 comes closer.
We're All N in South Dakota!!!
