After a successful start to Big Ten play, the Nebraska Baseball team (15-10-1, 2-0-1 Big Ten) returns home to host the Creighton Bluejays (8-14, 0-0 Big East) in the first of their three midweek games this season.
Tonight’s contest at Hawks field marks the first of three and the only game scheduled to be played in Lincoln this year. Nebraska and Creighton will matchup twice more with Nebraska traveling to Omaha and TD Ameritrade Park on Tuesday, April 18th and Wednesday, May 10th.
Nebraska will start Ben Miller (0-0, 0.00) on the mound, while the Jays will counter with Jeff Albrecht (3-3, 2.61).

Creighton this season has struggled, as the Jays are batting just .244 as a team this season. No qualified Creighton batter hits over .300, as Isaac Collins leads the team with a .293 batting average. Creighton averages 4.2 runs a contest, and gives up an average of 5.0 per game.
Creighton had their best win of the season this past weekend as they defeated a tough Winthrop team in the series opener, before dropping the final two contests. Creighton this season has played the 253rd most difficult schedule in baseball so far this season.
