The commitment of Brendan Radley-Hiles was a great start to Spring Game weekend for Nebraska. Now, it gets even better with another commitment.

The Huskers just picked up the verbal of Corona, California wide receiver Manuel Allen, who has been in town the past couple of days. Allen had been a commit to USC up to February 24. He quickly got a Nebraska offer right after his de-commitment, and has pulled the trigger on a verbal today.
Allen, a 6’2” WR from Centennial High School, is the 161st best player in the 2018 cycle. He is also the 31st best WR and the 20th best player in the state of California in the ‘18 cycle, all according to 247Sports.
Besides USC and Nebraska, Allen had multiple Power 5 offers in his 19 offers total. UCLA, Oregon and Ole Miss were the other schools involved with Allen.
If you’re looking for that tall WR, Allen definitely gives you that option. As a junior already over 6 feet tall, Allen can only get better with time.
It’s the SECOND verbal for the Huskers this weekend, and they keep moving up in the rankings, not only nationally by 247Sports, but also catching up in the Big Ten Conference.
