Numbers. You like ‘em? Love ‘em? Hate ‘em? Probably depends on what they’re telling you.

Or if you can understand what they’re telling you.

Corn Nation’s own Paul Dalen understands numbers. He’s this site’s version of Bill James (who led to Billy Beane, who led to Brad Pitt suddenly being considered a relevant actor again, so maybe disregard that).

Paul often digs into the numbers regarding college football and Nebraska football in particular. Do those numbers tell a good story for Nebraska in 2017? Do they tell a complete story for Nebraska in 2017? Should we spend our summer months popping champagne bottles or freaking the hell out? Paul is the guy to explain why we should or shouldn’t do any of those things.

He’s also a keen lover of satire and hater of stupidity. We dug into all of that on this week’s episode before he had to get his kid ready for prom. Give it a listen and then fill out the pop quiz below.
