Flakes: Spring, Winter, Spring, Winter, Who Knows?

New, comments

We have weird weather, but it's Nebraska, so yeah. Also baseball, softball, and beach volleyball. Do you Yahoo? No one else does either, but we remember.

Nebraska baseball Jon Johnston

The weather report here at the ranch:

March 19 and 20 - 70 degrees, sunburn, and planting cool-season crops in the garden. No snow in the 10-day forecast.

March 21 - LOL JK, Sincerely, Mother Nature.

march 21 snowfall with cattle in the background

March 22 - Forsythia blooming

I guess this is where I should remember I live in Nebraska.

Corn Flakes

It is spring break on UNL’s campus but the softball and baseball teams are in action, as is the beach volleyball team.

The softball team is having an uncharacteristically bad year. They are young and faced a murderer's row of teams (including the top 3 in the rankings) early on. They have a really long row to hoe if they hope to re-enter any kind of postseason discussion. Sometimes a difficult schedule builds character and sometimes it breaks a team. We will soon see what Rhonda Revelle's young team decides to do from here.
