Nebraska worked hard for Tyjon Lindsey, even after he committed to Ohio State back in August. Now, he’s officially a Husker as he has sent in his letter of intent.
Tyjon Lindsey is the 50th-best player in the entire 247Sports composite in the 2017 cycle. He is the highest-ranked player in the state of Nevada this year, and the 7th-best WR in this cycle as well.
Lindsey, who is a consensus four-star wideout who played his final year of HS at Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas, picked the Huskers over Ohio State, Southern Cal, Oregon and a litany of Power 5 offers across America.
You’ll see more of Lindsey’s 2015 highlights because there’s not much to 2016 to show. His senior season only gave him 5 receptions for 125 yards and 2 Touchdowns, a product of being injured twice in the season including a meniscus tear in his right knee.
Expectation: Tyjon isn’t coming to Lincoln to redshirt. Granted, he’ll be a little behind the 8 ball when it comes to the meniscus injury, but he should be full speed by the time he gets in Nebraska’s program this summer. Expect Lindsey to contribute at a needed WR spot almost immediately if healthy.
