The quarterback of the 2017 Nebraska Football recruiting class has officially become a Husker, and now he’s looking to compete right away.
So, @tgeb13, why come to Lincoln from Calabasas, CA?

Tristan Gebbia, the Calabasas quarterback out of California, has signed his national letter of intent, is on the campus, and is officially a member of the team.
Gebbia is the 10th-best pro-style quarterback in the 2017 class, the 13th-best player in the state of California, and the 201st-best player in the entire 2017 cycle, all according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Gebbia comes to Lincoln from Calabasas as he has set many records in his time at HS. His senior season alone, he threw for 5,338 yards, 61 TD’s and only 11 interceptions. His Calabasas team finished 14-1 on the season, losing its final game 60-53 in overtime in the CIF State Division 2-AA Final. In the game, which the highlights are below, Gebbia went 43-64 for 550 yards and 8 TD’s, 7 through the air.
Expectation: Tristan will join transfer Tanner Lee and redshirt freshman Patrick O’Brien this spring in practices, and will be in the Red/White Scrimmage sometime in April. While many think the race to replace Tommy Armstrong Jr. is a two-horse race, Gebbia can show what skills he has and put his hat in the ring.
