Starting at 12pm local time, Nebraska athletics will introduce their latest head football coach to the masses, the somewhat mysterious local man Scott Frost of Wood River, formerly the head coach of the American conference champions UCF Knights.
After some introductory comments from current athletic director Bill Moos, who was not fired for hiring the wrong person, noted local man Frost will then proceed to make a statement and answer questions about how awesome Nebraska will be for the foreseeable future. He will probably promise to run the ball.
Join us below as we watch this completely unknown local man attempt to win his first game against the Nebraska media and the fans.
TIME:
presser starts at noon central
LOCATION:
somewhere in Memorial Stadium
HOW TO WATCH:
Huskers.com will carry the presser live on video and through audio.
BTN will carry the press conference live and it will also be available via BTN2Go.
Your local Nebraska news channels will likely interrupt showings of NFL games and kids movies to show this game, and they will likely also stream the press conference online. I hear KETV has a good quality stream.
Your local Husker Sports Network radio station will probably carry Mr. Frost’s words also, and you can just mute the heroic speech before the big battle in your favorite war movie as a visual aid.
For those on their computers, the Huskers.com video feed is embedded below.
And here is the audio feed:
And of course, some of your buddies will be down below transcribing the whole thing to make hot takes more accessible!
So join us today and let’s welcome Coach Frost and his family and assistants to Nebraska.
A recap of the event will follow after some time to edit.
