Last game of the year and it’s against the team who is not only named after the guy who made the Stetson hat, but also took the head ware on as their mascot. One thing that might surprise you is that this is in Florida. Not Texas, New Mexico, or Wyoming where you would attach such stigmas.

However, Florida does have a nice history of cowboys or cowmen or crakers as they are called down there. In fact, the largest ranch in the United States is in Florida. It is called Desert Ranches and has been in operation since 1950 and currently encompasses 295,000 acres which equals to roughly 450 square miles and not too far outside of Orlando.

Anyway, I’m sure you could care less about cattle ranching in Florida.

Tonight we have two squads going against each other for the last game in 2017. Nebraska shouldn’t have much trouble with Stetson but we’ve seen the team play down to their opponents before. Hopefully that doesn’t pop it’s ugly head out tonight.
