Per Head Coach Mike Riley, Chris Jones has been cleared to play versus Wisconsin! Jones tore his meniscus, had surgery back in July, and was going to miss up to six months. Now, he’s back! And not a moment too soon, as Eric Lee and Lamar Jackson have had their struggles in recent weeks.
Riley: Chris Jones is cleared to play. With get in rotation. #Huskers

In other injury updates, safety Joshua Kalu and outside linebacker Marcus Newby will also be back this weekend. Antonio Reed and Ben Stille have played really well while these two were out, so don’t look for them to disappear completely from the field.
Mike Riley says Kalu, Newby will play this weekend. Chris Jones has been cleared to play, but it won't be full time against Wisconsin.

On the offensive line, the Huskers will once again go with true freshman Brendan Jaimes at right tackle and sophomore Michael Decker at center. Both have played better the last couple of weeks.
Riley: Brenden Jaimes will start again at RT and Michael Decker will start at center.

At I-Back, junior Mikale Wilbon still hasn’t practiced this week after spraining an ankle last Friday night at Illinois. Wilbon still might play, but obviously will be limited. Look for Devine Ozigbo to see the majority of carries this week.
