Looks like the Husker men’s basketball squad is already lining up tournaments to play in for the 2018-19 season.

Nothing is official yet but according to Jon Rothstein of Fan Rag Sports, Nebraska will head to Kansas City in 2018 to play in the CBE Classic. They will be joining USC, Missouri State, and Texas Tech in the tournament.

When? That’s a great question. The dates and times have yet to be decided along with who will play who in the classic. We hope to get more information in the upcoming days.

This years tournament is talking place on November 20th & 21st between Baylor, Wisconsin, UCLA, and our friends to the north Creighton. That will be quite the tournament as all three have been formidable programs over the past few years.

Early season tournaments have become the norm in college basketball in recent years. The Huskers will play in two this season. The first being the Gavitt Tipoff Games on November 16th and the Advocare Invitational on November 23rd to the 26th.
