Nebraska Recruiting: Official Visitors For The Final Weekend Of The 2017 Cycle

The finish line is near, and a few kids will be in Lincoln for the last weekend before National Signing Day

Student Sports

It’s the final weekend of the 2017 recruiting cycle, and most teams are hosting kids that are fairly solid or very interested at the last minute in the team hosting them.

Nebraska is not an exception, as they are hosting one verbal, as well as having in 2 kids that are on their radar for different reasons.

As I always write, this is a living list, meaning it can be added to or taken away from at any time this weekend. On to the players visiting.

The star visitor for the Huskers this weekend is the Wide Receiver that was committed to Ohio State, then flipped to Nebraska. Tyjon will be checking everything out and be ready to go come Wednesday and the faxes start rolling in. This is Tyjon’s third trip to Lincoln, so he should be accustomed to what he sees already.

Michael will be picking his school come National Signing Day, so the Huskers are putting the last impression on him. The Huskers rival in this race, TCU, hosted Michael last weekend.

Now, this is an interesting visit to me. Wallace, as you can see, isn’t really ranked too dang high in the 247 composite. However, an offer list of Nebraska, Oregon and USC with a commitment to Arizona would say that he’s a legit target. Wallace committed to the Wildcats, where Donte’ Williams was. Word is that Wallace only played his Senior season, and his recruitment has blown up off his Hudl tape. Click the profile and watch it and you decide if he’s good. For one year of play, I don’t think it’s bad.

Watch this one to see what kind of legs grow on it, especially if the staff doesn’t think they are getting the verbal of Deommodore Lenoir.

A couple of notes also heading into the weekend...

- Don’t be expecting Kurt Rafdal to be making that LSU visit. It’s Nebraska vs. Iowa for this one.

- Guy Thomas did not take his visit to LSU this week, but he will be a visitor to Louisville. Nebraska, Pittsburgh and Louisville’s coaching staffs were all mid-week visitors to the Thomas home.
