If last weekend was a great one because the Green Bay Packers won then it so stands that this weekend sucked royally because the Packers barely showed up against the Atlanta Falcons and were completely destroyed. The New England Patriots won, of course, because that’s what they do. So we have a Super Bowl set consisting of the Patriots versus the Falcons, Matt Ryan versus Tom Brady.

Are you excited to see the Patriots in another Super Bowl? I’m guessing there are plenty who aren’t happy about the teams, but at least Atlanta is a new entry.

Another horrific one point loss for Nebraska basketball against Rutgers. It’s obvious how much we miss Ed Morrow and the losing streak without him has been painful to watch. I continue to believe that Tim Miles has the program headed in the right direction, it’s just that progress is painfully slow.

Vincent Valentine will play for the Patriots so Nebraska extends their streak to 24 years with at least one Super Bowl player. Valentine made his presence known in the playoff game, and even threw the Bones!
