After his surprising announcement at the Army All-American Game in San Antonio 9 days ago, Nebraska WR target Jamire Calvin has opened up his recruitment again.
I've decided to re-open my recruitment. Have to make sure I am making the best decision for my future. No interviews at the moment please.

The Los Angeles WR, who committed to Oregon State in a violent surprise at the Alamodome, has reopened everything. The 247Sports Crystal Ball heavily leans toward Nebraska in this case.
What’s changed for Calvin in the last few days? A couple of things could be in play here:
- - In an interview with Sam McKewon of the Omaha WH right after the AA game, Calvin’s mother indicated that “his heart is with Nebraska.” Who knows what type of pressure he faced during that moment, but obviously it was enough to sway him to the Beavers.
- - Speaking of Oregon State, a sheer numbers issue may be the problem in Corvallis. The Beavers have 10 scholarship WR’s, but have 7 either on campus through early enrollment, or committed to Oregon State. Granted, Nebraska could take up to 6 in this cycle, but there’s a lot in the kitchen right now for OSU.
- - Finally, as it was with Tyjon Lindsey, don’t discount the fact that Keith Williams, Danny Langsdorf and Mike Riley are still working their asses off until National Signing Day. Word on the street is that they’re on the way to Cali right now.
