The Nebraska Basketball department announced that Forward Ed Morrow will be sidelined indefinitely with a right foot injury.
Morrow, a sophomore Forward from Chicago, had been one of the team’s difference makers in the post, had started every game for the Huskers this season. He only had 17 minutes for the Huskers in their loss vs. Northwestern on Sunday afternoon, after putting in 34 & 37 minutes in the wins vs. Maryland and Iowa before. That 17 minutes were due to foul trouble, but we all know now it’s a little more than that.
Tim Miles had this to say about the Morrow injury:
“Obviously this is disappointing for Ed,” Nebraska Coach Tim Miles said. “I think he’s been playing the best basketball of his career, but a foot injury is a delicate one. We want to make sure he is at full health, and it was obvious on Sunday that he just needs rest and time for his foot to heal properly.”
The release states that Morrow will be reevaluated sometime next week.
