Big Red Cobcast: WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS

We treated those Fresno State Bulldogs like Mike Vick treated Pitbulls except we made them fight us. Because we're men.

Here's what impressed me most about the return to greatness that is the 2016 Nebraska Cornhuskers football season. We didn't have Gerry, we didn't have Reilly, and we barely used DPE. We COULD have used Pierson-El but we showed class and said, "nah, he'll just embarrass them AGAIN". That's class. That's sportsmanship.

Can you imagine what we will do when we have everybody back? We will roll everybody, we will roll everybody like a perfect sphere on a perpetual motion machine.

I mean, we barely used Westerkamp for crying out loud - It's not even fair to the other 100+ football teams out there. We should almost sign Mark Sanchez just to give these other teams a chance. BUT THAT WOULD BE ILLEGAL AND WE DONT BREAK RULES BECAUSE WE ARE THE GREATEST!

So... next week - Wyoming. The Cowboys. Coal country. Where men are men and sheep are scared. I predict we have 3 100 yard rushers and 4 100 yard receivers, a special team's touchdown, 2 pick 6's and another 2 point conversion for "the hell of it".

This is gonna be a legend of a season. So strap in your kid's car seat, put on your racing helmet and get ready to white knuckle it because this is a Husker Train you're jumping onto, it's gonna be a HUSKER ROCKET SHIP
