Weak-Side Defensive End Robert Porcher IV has committed to Nebraska via twitter on Wednesday.
Porcher, the son of former Detroit Lions Defensive End Robert Porcher III, is a lower end ranked 3 star DE out of Orlando, Florida. He is the 63rd ranked Defensive End in the 2017 cycle, and the 230th ranked player in the state of Florida.
It's interesting that, for as lowly ranked Porcher is, his offer list is pretty solid. He picked the Huskers over Virginia Tech & Arizona, and seemed to have a fair amount of offers from a multitude of teams such as Louisville, Cal, Arizona State and Michigan among other places.
Porcher was ready to pull the trigger to the Huskers on Friday night, but he went home and thought about it some before doing so today.
This is Nebraska's second Defensive Line commit, and puts the Huskers at 11 verbals for the 2017 cycle. Who is next? Follow us on CN to find out what's next!
Huge addition today for the #Huskers! The #Blackshirts and @Coach_Parrella just got a lot better! #GBR ☠

Also couple former #Huskers deserve hockey assists on #Nebraska landing Porcher IV - both Schlesinger and Raiola stumped for old program.
