The Nebraska Cornhuskers have released information about their annual Fan Day. This is the day before Fall Camp starts that players & coaches are able for autographs, pictures and such on the field in Memorial Stadium.
Per this release by the University, Fan Day will now be a full 2 hours instead of just 90 minutes as it has been before. Also, Fan Day will once again be on a weekday evening instead of a weekend day.
The whole dang thing reads:
Husker fans can mark their calendar for Wednesday, Aug. 3, as the unofficial kickoff to the 2016 football season with Nebraska Football Fan Day presented by U.S. Cellular. The event will take place at Memorial Stadium from 6-8 p.m., marking the second straight year Fan Day has taken place in the evening.
This year, Coach Mike Riley and his staff have extended Fan Day by 30 minutes, giving fans a full two hours to meet and greet the team. Fan Day is annually the best opportunity to meet Nebraska players, coaches and staff before the start of the season. All players that will take part in preseason camp will be in attendance and available to Husker fans. Nebraska will begin preseason practice the following day on Thursday, Aug. 4.
More details on Fan Day will be available on Huskers.com as the event draws near.
