Andrew White Asks Release From Nebraska Basketball Program

White leaves Nebraska pulling out of the NBA Draft

In a shocking turn of events, Andrew White III has requested his release from his scholarship, and plans to transfer. White will be a graduate transfer, meaning he will be eligible to play this season at any school of his choosing.

White, an Honorable Mention All Big Ten guard, averaged 16.6 points per game last season to lead Nebraska. White becomes the second transfer from Nebraska this season, as he joins Bakari Evelyn as transfers.

It will be interesting to see where White ends up, as he could help a number of teams. White, who was a top 150 player coming out of high school will look to be a contributor to a NCAA Tournament team. According to multiple sources, White has been mulling transferring for over a month.

We wish Andrew the best of luck in his future pursuits.
