We are nearly to ludicrous season in sports writing. Ranking this, and "way too early" that will fill our screens. We will still read it (and write it) because it's better than paying attention to the Presidential election.
We have two Husker teams still in postseason contention - baseball and track and field. The baseball team squeaked into a regional by the skin of their teeth and will play this Friday (June 3) at 11 a.m. central (noon eastern). They play former Big 12 foe Oklahoma State. Let's hope the bats wake up (Get well soon Scott!)
