A week ago, Nebraska appeared firmly in the field of 64, but they had to wait out over half of the selection show to figure out that they were in. The Huskers who went 0-2 in the Big Ten Tournament, will head to Clemson, where they will matchup against the Oklahoma State Cowboys
Nebraska will have a chance to redeem themselves against Oklahoma State. The Huskers should start either Matt Waldron or Jake Meyers in the first contest, setting Derek Burkamper back a day or two. Burkamper when he is on is a good pitcher, but the Huskers will need their best to get out of Clemson.
Nebraska will also need the bats to wake up. Nebraska scored just three runs in the Big Ten Tournament, and will surely need more against an Oklahoma State team who finished the regular season 36-20.
