Less than 24 hours after a tough loss to the Michigan State Spartans, Nebraska will look to bounce back as they play the Indiana Hoosiers in an elimination contest. Nebraska will send Matt Waldron to the mound while Indiana will counter with Calab Baragar.
Waldron and Baragar squared off last Friday night in Lincoln, with Waldron blanking the Hoosiers in a 2-0 Nebraska victory. Baragar pitched well, allowing on two runs on six hits, taking a tough luck loss.
Indiana is in the losers bracket due to losing the opening game of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament yesterday morning 5-3 to Maryland. Indiana struck out 16 times against Mike Shawaryn of Maryland.
We have a @tdameritradeprk record.@TerpsBaseball SP Mike Shawaryn just fanned his 13th hitter today. https://t.co/BsX1dW2yPM

Once again, the Huskers will be without Scott Schreiber who continues to be day to day with a lower groin strain. Let's hope the Huskers can find the bats and see another day at the ballpark.
Scott Schreiber will again sit out Thursday's game with what Erstad called a "lower-abdominal strain." #Huskers #B1GBaseball
