Huskers Host Hoosiers for Senior Day

Five seniors play their last game at Hawks Field

Nebraska goes for the sweep this afternoon as the Huskers look to clinch the second overall seed in the upcoming Big Ten Baseball Tournament. Steven Reveles, Taylor Fish, Colton Howell, Jeff Chesnut, and Jake Placzek all play their last game at Hawks Field.

With a win, Nebraska will clinch the second overall seed in the Big Ten Tournament, the same seed they had last time the tournament was in Omaha. A Nebraska loss would move the Huskers to either the third or fourth seed overall, depending on the outcome of Minnesota's afternoon contest with Ohio State.

Jake Meyers will get back on the hill looking for his sixth win of the season. Meyers will be countered by Evan Bell. Bell is similar to Meyers in that he pitches to contact, as he only has 40 strikeouts in 77 innings this season. Bell also leads the Hoosiers in hit battsmen with 14 on the season.
