Nebraska Baseball Vs. Nebraska Omaha: Gamethread

Nebraska returns home after a seven game roadtrip as they look to sweep the season series against the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Nebraska and UNO squared off early this season, as the Huskers took traveled to Werner Park and took advantage of a number of Maverick errors in a 11-6 victory.

After getting three quality starts over the weekend, the Huskers will send Max Knutson to the mound. Knutson pitched 5.1 innings against the Kansas Jayhawks in his last start, a career high that he will look to surpass against the Mavericks. The Mavericks will send Eric Moreno to the mound to oppose the Huskers.

Moreno has been a reliever all season, appearing 12 times for the Mavericks, working to a 5.62 ERA. Opponents are batting .382 against Moreno. The Huskers should be able to get some quality swings off of Moreno, and should continue their push for an at large spot in the NCAA Tournament.
