Nebraska looks to keep their midweek magic alive.

After winning their sixth consecutive series, the Nebraska Cornhuskers look to win their 20th game of the season Tuesday night. The Huskers will face a Kansas State team which is coming off a disappointing weekend sweep at the hands of Texas Tech. Jake Meyers will get the start for the Huskers while the Wildcats will send Brandon Erickson to the mound.

Kansas State has lost 11 of their past 12 contest. Seven of those contest have been decided by two runs or less. The Wildcats have shown potency on offense, as they hit .284 as a team, while Clayton Dalrymple leads the team with a .342 batting average.

Where the Wildcats fall apart is pitching, with a staff ERA of 5.52. Erickson has pitched 15.2 innings this year, giving up 19 hits and 10 walks. He has allowed at least one earned run in each of his last three appearances, highlighted by giving up three runs against Oral Roberts in midweek action last week.
