Your Nebraska Cornhuskers Bowling team, who has had a pretty decent year, was named the #1 seed by the NCAA Women's Bowling Tournament committee for the National Championship tournament. This year, it will be held at Brunswick Zone Carolier in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The tournament will be in 2 weeks from April 14th-16th.

The Huskers will be joined by Arkansas State, Vanderbilt, Sam Houston State, McKendree College, Central Missouri and first-timer North Carolina A&T in the tournament.
Nebraska & Central Missouri has qualified for every NCAA Tournament since the inception of Women's Bowling as a non-club sport in 2003. The Huskers have claimed six NCAA Championships in that time, their most recent in 2015.
Last year, the Huskers ran away with the National Championship by defeating Stephen F. Austinat Tropicana Lanes in St. Louis by defeating the LadyJacks 4 victories to 2 in the Best of 7 Baker system format.
While All-American Liz Kuhlkin has left to the bright spots of the PWBA tour, the Huskers are still one of the top teams in the nation this year. Led by Gazmine Mason and Melanie Crawford, Nebraska has amassed a match-play record of 93-30, a staggering number since most of those matches feature the Baker format.
The NCAA Women's Bowling tournament will be streamed on NCAA.com up until the finals, which will be aired live on ESPNU on Saturday, April 16th at 5:30 Central.
