Nebraska Football: Huskers Spring Game To Not Be Broadcast Live On Big Ten Network

There will be no live Nebraska Football on your TV this spring, rather your internet.

Jon Johnston

I got to snooping around today, and it looks like with almost half of the Big Ten Conference having their Spring game on April 16th, your Nebraska Cornhuskers won't be live on the Big Ten Network.

Per lsufootball.net and the lineup listed on the Big Ten Network website, Ohio State will have the only live carriage of their Spring Game on BTN on that day.

Because of that, Nebraska joins Maryland, Purdue, Illinois and Penn State with their Spring game being relegated to a live feed on BTN2Go, the mobile/digital way to watch Big Ten sports.

Obviously, this does not mean BTN won't play the game, as tape-delay viewings do just as well for the crowds as well as live settings. However, if you are wanting to watch the game live and you're not readily available to go to the game, you're stuck with your phone or computer.

This does also make you wonder if Nebraska could move back their time to get a live slot on BTN. However, that could be tough for others to make.

Nebraska's Red/White Spring Game is set for 1:00pm on Saturday, April 16th. Tickets are still on sale through the UNL AD's website right here.
