Nebraska Football: California WR Keyshawn Johnson Jr. Commits To The Huskers

Could this be the start of the Calabasas Crew coming to Lincoln?

THE NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS HAVE SOMEONE TO THROW THE DAMN BALL TO.

The Huskers get their #Calabraska movement started for the 2017 recruiting cycle this weekend as Keyshawn Johnson Jr, the son of the famous NFL Wide Reciever, pulled the trigger and made it official Wednesday morning.

Johnson is the 25th best Wideout in the Class of '17, and the 23rd best player in the state of California this cycle.

Johnson may not be the most flashiest guy to commit to Nebraska, but what the four-star WR brings is a Professional pedigree from his Father, who you may have heard of.

Not only is that the case, but this should open up the coffers of the #Calabraska pipeline that the Nebraska Football staff has been working on. Darnay Holmes, Tristan Gebbia and others are waiting in the wings from Calabasas HS, and if this is the start of a pipeline from there, then no one will really complain.

Keith Williams was the main recruiter for Johnson, who picked the Huskers over Alabama, USC, Ohio State and Clemson among other schools.

Who will be the NEXT one to commit to Nebraska? We will have that info for you when it pops at Corn Nation, your source for FREE Nebraska Football news.
