Huskers win two in a row. Set to take on Maryland in the semifinal game.

Okay, we beat Wisconsin and are heading into a battle with #3 Maryland. It was a fun game to watch with Nebraska having little trouble shooting the paint against the Badgers. Wisconsin had little to respond with against the Big Red and they never let up on the gas peddle the entire night. Even more encouraging, the team looked like it was having fun.

Nebraska played the Terrapins earlier this season and almost came out with a win. It was a hard fought game that was a huge defensive battle. Neither team did well on the offensive front. In the end, Maryland's size and athleticism is what gave them the five point win against the Huskers.

Tonight should be interesting. Nebraska is coming in with two games under their belt in the tournament while Maryland is playing their first game. Hopefully Nebraska was able to get some rest because they will need it tonight. Fresh legs will be a factor tonight and after two days of playing the Huskers might be a little depleted.  The bench has played well so far in the tournament and we will need them playing their best tonight.

Winner of tonights game will play the winner of Ohio State/Michigan State game on Saturday.
