Nebraska Vs. College Of Charleston Sunday Gamethread

Nebraska looks to clinch the weekend series against the Cougars

After a disappointing Saturday, the Nebraska Baseball team will look to bounce back at take the rubber game against The College of Charleston Cougars on Sunday. Nebraska will look to win the opening series of the season with Zach Engelken getting his first weekend start. The College of Charleston will counter Engelken with Hayden McCutcheon.

Expect to see a lot of bullpen action in this game, as both Engelken and McCutcheon have a tendency to run into big innings. McCutcheon last season had a 5.26 ERA, while allowing the opposition to bat .307 against him. Engelken had a 4.50 ERA, while allowing the opposition to bat only .256.

Darin Erstad has put both catchers in the lineup, batting true freshman Jesse Wilkening has the designated hitter. Ben Miller will get the start at first base in place of Scott Schreiber. The full lineup can be seen below.
