Nebrasketball: Nebraska vs Indiana Game Thread

Huskers travel to Bloomington to take revenge on an early season loss

Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

Indiana

Back on January 2nd Indiana came to town and took home a win against the Huskers. Nebraska played well early on and kept up with the Hoosiers but could not match up with the size and talent down the stretch and lost 79 to 69. Since then Indiana had gone in a fairly nice little run agains some of the bottom feeders of the conference with wins against the likes of Minnesota, Illinois, and Ohio State. They have also played some of the big boys with decent wins over Michigan and top 5 Iowa. However they also needed to pull off the wins against Penn State and Wisconsin that just weren't there. They are currently coming off a blowout loss to Michigan State in East Lansing.

Interesting note, all losses this year have come on the road.

Can the Huskers pull one out today? I'm not too sure yet. Not having Shields on the floor hurts but the guys seem to be playing okay without him so far. My only worry is if White goes cold one of these games and we don't have the shooting to pull it together. Also, like I stated above, Indiana is playing well at home and Nebraska seems to be doing well when they are on the road. This could lead to an interesting game.

Anyway, on to the game.

Brew of the Game: I'm in Mexico so let's go with Negra Modello. It's a darker Mexican beer but sure can hit the spot. I say crack one and don't put the lime in. It's not like you're fighting off scurvy.
