Gallery: Nebrasketball in Black and (Andrew) White

With Shavon Shields cheering him on from the bench, Andrew White III had a career night, setting a new career high with 35 points in the Nebraska's 70-54 win over Penn State. He was supported by a solid showing from his youthful teammates with Michael Jacobson, Glynn Watson Jr. and Jacob Hammond each scoring at least 9 points. The Huskers dominated the Nittany Lions in the second half after struggling to take a one point lead into halftime.

Husker stalwart Shields was on hand in street clothes for the first time since taking a scary tumble a week ago vs. Rutgers, missing his second straight contest. Shields is not likely to return before the Huskers take on Indiana Wednesday night in Bloomington, IN.

The Huskers were also sporting their Black History Month uniforms honoring the 1908 NU squad. In the spirit of the throwback uniforms, the gallery from this evenings win are in black and white.
