How Did We Get Here?

Nebraska staged a comeback for the ages against Penn State, and then swept Washington to get to the Final Four. Nebraska has four national championships - this could be their first back-to-back national championship, and it all starts with Texas tonight, the team they swept to earn last year’s national championship.

Texas... well, they actually didn’t win the Big 12 this year. Kansas won it, but got upset early in the NCAA Tourney by Creighton. Texas has just one national title, coming in 2012, but that’s one more than Minnesota.

Minnesota finished second in the Big Ten behind Nebraska this season. The Gophers have not yet won a national title despite making the Final Four five times.

Stanford upset third-seeded Wisconsin in the regional final. The Cardinal have won six national titles.
