The defensive line verbals of the Nebraska Cornhuskers took a fair hit on Monday afternoon.
Robert Porcher, who Nebraska was in early on, has reopened his commitment.
There was much talk about Porcher’s low rating, and much was made about it with recruiting folks from Rivals and such. In a somewhat uncharacteristic move, Porcher was bumped from a 2 star to a 4 star. Unfortunately, other schools started to notice that as well, and his recruitment heated up.
Virginia Tech and Michigan have been noted as schools that Porcher has been linked to. The want to be closer to home is a fair statement as well.
This comes off a weekend that Guy Thomas, Nebraska’s other DE verbal, made a visit to Maryland that was much ballyhooed early, but seemed to fizzle afterwards.
We wish Robert the best of luck and you should as well.
