Flakes: The World Has Not Ended?

OK, I admit that I did not put much effort into curating links because the world was supposed to end. Thanks Obama.

It has been a stressful week around the ranch. Big decisions. No, those did not involve the election or how big a bunker we would build depending on election results.

It is time to consider different ways to run the ranch than we have in the past. The soil has improved to the point that more crops than grass are in play. Killer raccoons who eat chickens are not invited to our new reality.

Doing things the same way is possible but does not offer opportunities for the ranch sons. We need to set up this little patch of land for the next generation. It barely feels like we got started and it is time to think about passing it on.

Have you ever looked at the big picture and realized how small your selfie is? I guess that is the definition of middle age.

Flakes is abbreviated today because I am busy shooting movies in the Nebraska landscape. Ok, I am recording some stock videography about calibrating manure spreaders. I actually have a really awesome job. Trust me (not even kidding).
