Iowa leads Nebraska 20-3 at the half after the Hawkeyes scored on two of their longest plays of the season. Akrum Wadley had a 75-yard run to start the scoring, then last Riley McCarron took a pass across the middle for 77 yards for another touchdown. Both scores were the longest pass and run plays of the season for Iowa.

Iowa scored again as Akrum Wadley got into the endzone on a four-yard run, which was set up by a 56-yard run by Wadley to the Nebraska eight.

Nebraska’s lone score came on a 35-yard field goal by Drew Brown.

Iowa has 295 total yards at half, 187 of that on the ground. The Hawkeyes are averaging 9.7 yards per carry in rushing, with Daniels leading all rushers with 97 yards on 11 carries.

Nebraska’s Tommy Armstrong is 7-for-17 for 79 yards in the first half. The Huskers have 143 total yards, but only 64 on the ground.
