Some news & notes from the availabilty of Mike Riley after Thursday’s practice:
- Nebraska Quarterback Tommy Armstrong practiced for the first time this week on Thursday. He went in a no-contact green jersey. Head Coach Mike Riley stated if Armstrong was asymptomatic on Friday, he would be cleared to play Saturday night vs. Minnesota.
- Riley also stated that Guard Jerald Foster will see live action on Saturday. Foster, who was set to be the starting Left Guard in preseason, was thought to be lost for the season with a leg injury back in August.
- Riley did also mention that Cole Conradt will start at Right Tackle for David Knevel. Knevel is still working back from an ankle injury.
- Tanner Farmer also returned to practice, amd by reports it seems like he should be good for Satirday night as well.
