Carter was lost early in the game with what’s being described as a elbow injury suffered on his only catch. Westerkamp took a knee in the lower back/kidney area when making a catch late in the 3rd quarter of the game. Westerkamp was taken to a local hospital for precautionary measures, Riley revealed during the post game press conference.
Riley also updated the condition of Nebraska Running Back Devine Ozigbo, who was in a boot according to reports after the game.
Devine Ozigbo won't practice this week with a sprained ankle. His status is not known for the Indiana game, Riley says. #Huskers

There was some good news on the injury front, however.
Tanner Farmer and Alonzo Moore are "hopeful" to play Oct. 15 at Indiana, Riley said. Bye week this week. #Huskers

Farmer was out of the Illinois game with a high ankle sprain. Moore had been fighting a shoulder issue for the better part of the season so far, and was hurting up to the Northwestern game.
Nebraska has the week off, then will be heading to Bloomington, Indiana to take on the Hoosiers next Saturday in a 2:30 kickoff on ABC.
