Nebraska Football: Jordan Westerkamp & Cethan Carter “Likely Out” For Indiana Game

Two Senior pass catchers will miss the game with the Hoosiers

On the Big Ten Conference call this morning, Nebraska Cornhuskers Head Coach Mike Riley updated two big Offensive injuries suffered in the Huskers 31-16 win vs. Illinois this past Saturday.

Carter was lost early in the game with what’s being described as a elbow injury suffered on his only catch. Westerkamp took a knee in the lower back/kidney area when making a catch late in the 3rd quarter of the game. Westerkamp was taken to a local hospital for precautionary measures, Riley revealed during the post game press conference.

Riley also updated the condition of Nebraska Running Back Devine Ozigbo, who was in a boot according to reports after the game.

There was some good news on the injury front, however.

Farmer was out of the Illinois game with a high ankle sprain. Moore had been fighting a shoulder issue for the better part of the season so far, and was hurting up to the Northwestern game.

Nebraska has the week off, then will be heading to Bloomington, Indiana to take on the Hoosiers next Saturday in a 2:30 kickoff on ABC.
