Things to remember:

- Winning games at this level is hard.
Keeping all that in mind, many will look at the score and be underwhelmed by a measly 13 point, 27-14 win. The secondary, self titled as "Lockdown U" had their locks picked a couple of times in the first half as Purdue sprinted to the locker room with a 14-10 lead in front of an annoyed 90,000 Husker fans. They clamped down again in the second half, as once again, the Huskers used a strong 4th quarter to seal the win to move to 7-0.
Today's game marked a milestone for senior quarterback Tommy Armstrong. He completed 17 passes on the day, moving him past Taylor Martinez as having completed the most passes in program history. He sits 2nd with 245 yards behind Martinez in total offense, as well.
Kicker Drew Brown also connected on a career high 51-yard field goal, setting a new career high. The Huskers have scored 27 points for the second straight week. #SF27
The Huskers will see the competition stiffen considerably next week as they head to the much anticipated match up with the Wisconsin Badgers. The top ten tilt will be the first the Huskers have participated in since joining the Big Ten. Kickoff is set for 6 pm on ESPN.
