Purdue Leads Nebraska 14-10 At Half

THE WORLD IS ENDING

NCAA Football: Purdue at Nebraska Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

The world is ending! The Apocalypse is upon us!

Nebraska is losing to Purdue, a team that fired their coach just last week!

This was not what Husker fans envisioned, especially after Kieron Williams intercepted Purdue on the first play of the game, when Purdue running back Markell Jones attempted a halfback option pass.

One play later, a 22-yard run by Tommy Armstrong, and Nebraska was on the board with a touchdown and a 7-0 lead. The rout was on!

BUT NO!

Purdue hit a 45-yard bomb, then went for it on fourth down with a nice misdirection play and scored to answer Nebraska’s quick touchdown. Later, Purdue would get an 88-yard touchdown on a pass from David Blough to De Yancey, to go ahead 14-10.

In the first quarter, Purdue’s quarterback Blough was 7-of-8 for 92 yards, 1 TD with a Rating 225.4. He finished the first half 16-for-20 for 231 yards, two touchdowns and a rating of 210.

Nebraska may lose. If that’s the case, prepare to burn everything.
