The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been visited by Washington, South Dakota Offensive Line prospect Matt Farniok more than any other school that he has been considering at all.

Farniok, who will be playing the Army All-American Game this Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, has narrowed his final three teams to Nebraska, Iowa and Michigan State.

Don't think that Nebraska isn't in his ear, as fellow Husker verbal John Raridon is playing alongside Farniok this weekend in central Texas.

While he's visited Nebraska eight times, both on unofficials and his one allowed OV, Farniok will be visiting Michigan State on January 15th, with his Iowa OV on January 22nd.

Farniok was set to make his decision on his school on TV during the Army game, however, that seems to have been pushed back till closer to National Signing Day.

The school that came out of nowhere, Florida State, has been eliminated. There's no reason to think that Nebraska trails in this race, but I think Farniok is just getting the most out of his recruitment.

- A decision is coming soon for Ohio Cornerback Tony Butler, who has Nebraska as his current leader.

Of course, I say current because we've all seen how Arizona State has been able to sweep in and get Nebraska targets. However, Butler loved his visit to Nebraska back in December, and will be looking for ASU to give him something completely different before he pulls the trigger.

What should help Nebraska is that both the recruiting coordinator and Safeties coach for Arizona State is on the way to Memphis with new HC/former Arizona State OC Mike Norvell.

Butler would help boost a Cornerback class that could be playing very early in their careers.
