Not much from me today... mostly I am trying to stay out of the way of all the recruiting news of which Brian is doing a good job for all y'all.
Matt Farniok committed. Sounds like we're getting some of my favorite guys in. Things are looking up for the offensive line.
I have not payed that close attention. I have no idea where the class is ranked, for example. It sounds like we're getting a fair number of the guys we've sought and that is always good. There are so many variables in a kid getting into school, then adjusting to college life without destroying themselves in the process, figuring out that their biggest problem is time management, before you can even think about them being contributing members to the football team.
Nebraska Football: Spring Game & Season Ticket Prices Set For 2016 - Corn Nation
However, in a different twist than previous years, UNL is not allowing the pledge to be done on the field at halftime, rather this season patrons will stay in their seats.
So.... kids will do the halftime pledge to remain drug free from their seats because... lawyers?
I am reminded of this Cobby story from only a few years ago:

In recruiting, Big Ten's hands are just as dirty now as everyone else's | FOX Sports
For many years the league's collective recruiting efforts lagged far behind the SEC's, if not others. But for 2016, Ohio State is in position to land the conference's first consensus No. 1 class of the Internet era. Archrival Michigan will likely join it in the Top 5, while Michigan State (No. 7) and Penn State (No. 11) are in or near the Top 10 on Scout.com. That's quite a departure from just two years ago, when No. 5 Ohio State was the lone Big Ten school higher than 19th.
Well... except for BAGMEN.

Things just don't look good for Illinois football program. I cannot believe that they were stupid enough to put themselves in this position.
