The Nebraska Cornhuskers will be selling their 2016 Spring Game Tickets next week, starting with selling to Season Ticket holders on Tuesday, February 2nd. Spring Game tickets will then be opened up to the general public the next day, February 3rd, at 8:00am Central.
Tickets will cost $15 for club seats, and $10 for general admission. UNL faculty & staff will be able to purchase tickets for $5, while students will be allowed to see the game free of charge.
The Drug-Free pledge is again happening, and children can get free tickets with the pledge for kids in the 8th grade or under. Patrons can get 2 kids tickets for every 1 adult ticket when they purchase. However, in a different twist than previous years, UNL is not allowing the pledge to be done on the field at halftime, rather this season patrons will stay in their seats.
The 2016 Red/White Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 16th at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. Time of the contest is yet to be announced.
The Nebraska Athletic Department also announced today that 2016 Season Ticket prices will go unchanged from last year. Per the release:
All season ticket prices for the 2016 season are unchanged from last season. Season ticket holders will receive a 25 percent discount as compared to single-game pricing, paying an average of $57 per game for seven home games. UNL faculty and staff will be charged $53 per game ($371 total). UNL students will pay $161 ($23 per game) in 2016. Season ticket invoices will be mailed to Husker fans later this week.
